Synopsis :

In the suburbs of Casablanca, Hassan and Issam, father and son, live from day to day by carrying out small trafficking jobs for the local mafia.
One evening they are tasked with kidnapping a man. Trapped in a long night, they have no idea what awaits them…

Kamal Lazraq

Born in Casablanca (Morocco) in 1984, Kamal Lazraq gratuated in 2011 from the directing section of La Fémis (Paris).

His graduation film Drari, selected for the Festival de Cannes, garnered the Second Prize of the Cinéfondation and the Jury Grand Prize at Entrevues Belfort IFF.

He directed the muti-award-winning short film Moul Lkelb (The man whit the dog) in 2013, which was selected for many international film festivals around the world.

His first feature, Hounds, won the Jury’s Prize Un certain regard at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, and the Jury’s Prize at the Marrakech International Film Festival the same year.
